Job Description

Job Purpose:

Supports company operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff.

Duties:

·         Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions.

Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Accounting Manager is responsible for general ledger management, account reconciliation, cash receipts processing, depreciation and accruals, investment accounting, accounts receivable collections, and preliminary monthly accounting cycle closing.

Duties:

  • Develop and maintain financial record keeping and reporting systems.
  • Supervise billing, receivables, payables, cash receipts, cash disbursements, and general ledger functions.
  • Monitor and follow-up on receivables that have been outstanding for unusually long periods of time.
  • Produce monthly financial statements including balance sheet, profit/loss statements, and accumulative general ledger using a computer-based accounting system.
  • Ensure that all general ledger accounts are reconciled to subsidiary records on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare monthly closing general ledger entries.
  • Review reconciliations to ensure that they are prepared properly and follow-up on any unusual items.
  • Monitor cash flow and investments.
  • Oversee filing of tax forms including 1099s, IRS pension report.
  • Oversee, in conjunction with independent auditor, preparation of annual audit.
  • Reconcile bank and investment accounts, and prepares related journal entries

Job Description

Job Purpose:

Medical Assistants provide DCFS clients who are attempting to reintegrate their families, access to care in various regions throughout Cook County. Having the various locations spread thorough out Cook County eliminates the barrier of long travel inconvenience and/or distance when trying to provide toxicology specimens.

Duties:

  • Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit.
  • Prepares patients for appointments by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature, urinalysis, and diagnostic medical testing; reports patient history on summary.
  • Secures patient information and maintains patient confidentiality.
  • Schedules appointments; verifying times with patients; preparing charts, pre-admission and consent forms. Communicates information to Coordinators and/or Managers.
  • Performs off-site medical laboratory testing using Company equipment.
  • Uses clinically appropriate professional terminology to complete forms and records, accurately and timely
  • Develops and maintains appropriate professional boundaries between self, and clients
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations and knowledge of job responsibility in emergency.
  • Serves and protects the physician practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Attends mandatory In-Services.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
  • Should be regular about attendance.
  • Promotes teamwork through collective effort and works cooperatively with team members.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge of standards, policies, procedures and organizational structure, and Nursing Services. Participates in continuing education relative to role as defined.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to exchange information and maintain courteous relationships with patients, visitors, and employees.
  • Must have reliable vehicle to travel between collection site locations. 

Required certification or license:

  • Must be certified or pending Certification with a Medical Assistant Diploma from a Medical Assistant Program as a Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant in the State of Illinois. 
  • Preferably listed on the State of Illinois Registry or must have completed a minimum of six-weeks or equivalent course work or internship and certifiable  or pending certification within one year of employment.

Job Description

Job Purpose:

Provide social services and assistance to improve the social and psychological functioning of adults, children and their families. Social Workers in this field assess their client’s needs and offer assistance to improve their situation. This often includes coordinating available services to assist a child or family. 

Duties:

  • Provides services to assist family members of those who suffer from addiction or other mental health issues.
  • Identifies potential conflicts, implements intervention techniques to prevent or intervene in potential crisis situations and assists families that have serious domestic conflicts.

Job Description

Job Purpose:

Utilizes quality assurance system through implementation of policies and procedures to insure the development of company strategic goals.  Responsible for coordinating, and improving quality systems and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.  Maintains databases; prepare reports.

  • Serves as the contact liaison between management, supervisors and testing site location contact person or agency.
  • Maintains client accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal information and reports all billing information to Billing Coordinator.

  • Plans and coordinates requirements for various testing sites or locations where testing is performed.
